Research
We have provided grave markers to identify 2,000 interred persons. About 3% identified were military. Our resident genealogist and data geek Larae Liddle conducts the magnanimous task of learning who is interred and where. Her difficult work can be found in her book entitled 'Setters and Prisoners'
Community
GCA works with local private and public organizations to deliver our mission. We were featured on Eric's Heroes on Komo 4 News, have completed four Eagle Scout projects and worked with local organizations to continue our cause.
Volunteers
2023 has been productive. This October's Make A Difference Day event completed the installation of 55 grave markers with over 50 hard-working volunteers. We plan to install a work shed and make aesthetic improvements to the grounds.
